Lending and Borrowing Inventory Printable

Our home is overflowing with STUFF.  I have been trying to give away and sell more and more of our things.  Books are at the top of my list for sharing with others.  Baby items lend easily and get extra use instead of gathering dust in storage wondering if they will be used again.  My husband lends and borrows tools for projects.   Borrowing is ideal if an item is needed for a short time.

This lending and borrowing inventory printable is as much for me as it is for you.  At the end of the school year, Big Sister's teacher sent home a couple of resources I had sent to school.  My intention was for them to stay for the school year and then be returned, but I had forgotten.  I'm thankful the teacher was organized enough to remember to return them.

Do you have any stories of forgotten borrowed items?  What happened?

  1. If someone isn't family I won't really lend anything. I find it ruins friendships. People don't return things even if you ask. They lose or damage stuff or give it to someone else.

    1. Eek. If that was my experience I wouldn't be eager to lend, either. I don't lend to everyone and anyone, but I do lend to good friends and have for years without problems thankfully.

  2. What a great way to keep track of loaned or borrowed items! I'm pretty good at remembering what I've borrowed, but I always forget what I've loaned out.

  3. I have lost many a favorite book by lending it out and forgetting who I lent it to. This is a great idea. :)
