5 Simple Ways to Celebrate Birthdays

Being that I just celebrated my birthday during my little blogging break, I thought it'd be fun to share a few birthday party ideas here on the blog.  How did I get to be thirty-eight already?
Here are a few simple birthday party decorations, cake, gift wrap ideas from our own family.

Balloon Banner
This balloon banner is a perennial favorite for birthdays.
Add some pop with a matching ribbon.
After the birthday celebration, the banner went to the child's bedroom.
M&M Cake Decorations
Simple, yet bold color.
Cool Whip and Pudding Frosting
I may not like frosting, but this was easy to use and tastes so much better than standard frosting.

You know I like to keep it simple right?  More fun ideas are on my Pinterest Party board.  Do you follow me yet?  Come back tomorrow for book-themed parties from around the web.

Last year I shared 37 things about me.  I enjoy sharing personal posts like that since I enjoy reading others' so much.
