Weekend Wind-Down {May 23}

I'm amazed that it's Memorial Day weekend. Little League has us busy, as well as the end of the year school activities.

Last weekend one of the schools where I taught celebrated their 125th anniversary. They hosted a huge festival. Big Sister, Brother, and I enjoyed the festivities. They loved their painted faces. Big Sister is an adorable puppy and Brother is a crabby crab (who smiles). A teen recognized and hugged me. I had tutored her and her sister and it thrilled me to catch up for a few minutes.

Big Sister has FOUR weeks of school left. [Groan!] Thankfully, Brother
only has a week of preschool remaining. I'm ready for summer to begin.

Our short summer calendar filled up quickly with these week-long activities.

VBS (at least one)
Weaving (4-H and libary--if Big Sister is allowed. She's not quite old enough.)
Family Camp
Science in the Summer (Library)
Swim Lessons
Swim Lessons
Family visit to northeastern PA
