January Meal Plan

At some point I will share with you a bit more about how I meal plan, but for now I will quickly explain that I have learned to plan one month at a time, and adjust as needed.
Below is the list of the evening meals we have planned for the month of January.  You can call it supper or dinner- whichever you prefer.  We eat a lot of leftovers, and most weeks we have at least one meal planned that is not made (because of those extra leftovers).

Links may be to this blog, my old blog, or to another site.

Week 1
Angel Hair Dish
Homemade Pizza
Creamy Chicken and Noodles

Week 2
White Lasagna (loosely based on this recipe)
Creamy Ham and Mac
French Dip (from the freezer!)
Waffles
Ground Beef Casserole

Week 3
Scalloped Potatoes with this dessert for my husband's birthday!
Chicken Wraps
Spaghetti and Meatballs
Quesedilla
Beef and Noodles

Week 4
Pasta with Broccoli
Ranch Pork Chops
Beef Tacos
Pancakes
Homemade Hamburger Helper

Week 5
Beef and Broccoli
Chicken Noodle Soup

If something sounds really appealing to you, feel free to ask for the recipe.  I have most of them typed!

What's for dinner in your home tonight, this week, or this month?

  1. Can I get your recipes for the Angel Hair Dish and the Creamy Chicken and Noodles? We all like noodle dishes around here, but especially Grasshopper. When he likes something, I try to really go with it, and I tend to have pretty good luck with your recipes. :)

  2. I'm visiting from OrgJunkie's Menu Plan Monday--you're so smart to cook extra and have leftovers. I do that at least once a week, usually with a big soup/stew or a crockpot meal. It gets us through busy evenings when we're coming back from an activity with the kids--just reheat and serve!

  3. What are you putting on your homemade pizza? We are putting ham on ours this week! Erin

    1. We usually just have cheese on our pizza, but ham is a favorite when it isn't plain! Great minds think alike!

  4. Looks like a great menu this week! I've made note of the french dip sandwiches, and I really do need to try those ranch pork chops. Enjoy!
