Friday Favorite Five #12

1. Spring.  It is officially here!  I even wore short sleeves once this week.  (I am always cold!  Some people are wearing shorts...that is NOT me.)  Is anyone else thinking of Easter already?  I will do the resurrection eggs (and will share a printable soon, too) again.  I might try the resurrection cookies as another lesson.  Of course we'll read books, and the Bible, too.  What will you do?  I'd love some more ideas!
2. Health for the family.  I'm still a bit dizzy occasionally, but the whole family is doing well.  (The dizziness isn't that bad.)
3. My son asking me to play with him.  Brother will occasionally tolerate me playing with him, but this week he asked me to play three times!
4. Books.  I am currently reading several books.  I'm hoping to finish Lit! A Christian's Guide to Reading Books, Pilgrim's Progress, and Pioneer Girl  manuscript soon!
5. Knowing that a few friends and family in real life read my blogs.  I love blogging and appreciate that it's not only my blogging friends that read.

This week I was brief...This week has been full and busy.  Thanks for reading!  You can share your own blessings and read more at Living to Tell the Story.

(The picture above is the first time I have notice the scratch on my camera lens.  It's been scratched for well over a year.  I'm glad it does not show easily.  The camera may be cheap, but I like it!)

  1. That's so funny about your son. My son asks us to play with him ALL the time. I don't know if it's because he has no one else to play with or that's his love language. It would be interesting to know Brother's love language. It must not be quality time. :)

  2. I think you'll have to go on enjoying Spring for me for a bit! Yesterday we still had 6" of snow on the ground! Thankfully most of it melted away. I'm DEFINITELY ready for Spring!

HA! I also never wear shorts. I'm always cold.

  3. I want to read Lit! I'm anxious to hear what you think.

I'm another one who's always cold... Hope you have a great, springy week ahead!

  4. Yay for Spring! One of the reasons we live in Southern CA is that I am always cold and the climate here is easier for me.

    Enjoy your weekend!

  6. great list! I used to host an Easter egg hunt where you fill all the eggs with a little foil wrapped chocolate easter egg but leave ONE plastic egg empty to represent the empty tomb. WHomever found the empty egg was the official "winner" and then we would sit the girls and their friends in a circle and talk about what the empty tomb really means.....and have more chocolate eggs! :)

  7. It HAS been beautiful weather lately! In my part of the world, we usually only have summer and winter, with a couple weeks total for fall and spring. :P We've really enjoyed this weather!

  8. Sounds wonderfully warm where you are. We're quite a bit from shorts weather, yet here. We've got spring snow on the ground.

I've heard a lot of good stuff about Lit! I have got to put it on my list.

Glad you guys are all feeling better.

  9. I'm loving the warmer weather, things blooming, and longer days as well. I'm not a shorts person, either.

I'm glad everyone is relatively healthy and hope your dizziness goes away soon.

Books are a perennial favorite for me, too.

I still can't see the scratch.
