I wasn't allowed to watch Full House growing up because DJ was too whiny and argumentative. ;) So it was my guilty pleasure I'd sneak in at friends' houses! :D (That is one of my greatest rebellious actions when growing up. Because I'm THAT exciting!) ;D

Glad to know that you are (were?) enjoying Love and Respect. As you know, I have that on my list of things to read. I haven't had nearly the amount of time I thought I'd have to read on our trip. Not nearly as much as I expected! And then coming home hasn't provided for much time either but I'm working on it! Totally missed Nightstand this past month. :(Carriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08772667430500306088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1903409844961124425.post-32271624232854845862014-04-28T09:48:25.131-04:002014-04-28T09:48:25.131-04:00Love and Respect is a really great book. I was very encouraged when I read it.

I agree with you about Peter Pan - although it was Tinker Bell who really annoyed me when I read Peter Pan. bekahcubedhttp://bekahcubed.menterz.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1903409844961124425.post-62939971181468098612014-04-26T19:52:34.237-04:002014-04-26T19:52:34.237-04:00I didn't like Peter Pan at all when I read it....I didn't like Peter Pan at all when I read it. So much, that I wondered if all those who claimed it as a favorite book had even read it. Aren't I horrible?! ;) With last season's Once Upon a Time being heavy on the Peter Pan storyline, I have to admit I've been drawn back to the book to give it another chance. I'm curious if I'll change my mind after a 2nd read.
Bluerosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680170638396181756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1903409844961124425.post-87827043554709282132014-04-25T14:44:07.719-04:002014-04-25T14:44:07.719-04:00I finally finished Speaking from Among the Bones l...I finally finished Speaking from Among the Bones last month. I recently bought the first one for a chemistry-loving friend, and she loved it!

Thanks for your suggestions on my read-aloud nightstand post. I need to start keeping a list. The Westing Game is one I've wanted to read, but never had, so I'm definitely going to put that on our list! I looked at your list of chapter books too. He read the first few Guardians of G'ahoole, but then got bored. We LOVE Horten's Miraculous Mechanism books, and I enjoyed MBS, so that will be on his list at some point. Land of Elyon is new to me but looks good.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03789250398792504412noreply@blogger.com
