How many birthday parties do you or your children attend each year? We attend a handful of birthday parties of the children's friends each year. If they give a boxed item, I tend to wrap it in paper. I rarely have a coordinating bow, so I make my own.
DIY Matching Gift Ribbon
1. Cut a long rectangle of wrapping paper. (The scissors pictured are standard, adult-sized scissors.)
2. Cut strips of about 1/2 inch wide. Do not cut to the end of the paper. Instead, leave a 1-2 inch uncut space at the end of the paper.
3. Curl each strip of paper just as you would curling ribbon. Be gentle; the paper can rip easily.
4. Separate the ribbons.
5. Tape the set of ribbons to your gift.
Give your gift and bless another.
