Weekend Wind-Down Party {May 30}

I like having this opportunity weekly opportunity to share with you what's happening in our home as part of the link party.  Memorial Day weekend was productive for us.  We cleaned our carpets and installed an over-the-range microwave.  Let's just say I love it and the extra counter space.

Our small town has a Memorial Day parade which we attended again.  It's one small way we can teach our children about the importance of honoring those who have given their lives in service to our country.

Brother's bittersweet, final day of preschool was yesterday.  My feelings are uncertain.  I'm not ready for summer.  Big Sister's school goes until June 20.  In the meantime, I think I'll leave my comfort zone a bit and
seek out a play date with one of his preschool classmates.  We may also visit the local John Deere store for fun.
This week on the blog I shared my daughter's Duplo American flag, the books I read this month, a giveaway, and how to clean a washing machine.   We also hit 500 likes on Facebook!  Thank you!

It's time for the Weekend Wind-Down Link Party.  Did you know we pin all of the featured posts?  I also pin others that I appreciate.  You can follow me on Pinterest, or just the boards you like. To be considered for a feature, you need to link to us, so make sure you do.  Remember, this party takes place on six blogs, so that's a lot of exposure.
