Weekend Wind-Down May 2

Ah.  I feel like I'm breathing a bit more these days.  More days and evenings at home help me.  Do you recharge at home or when you are on the go?

It was a rainy week here in Pennsylvania.  Our basement had water in again.  Thankfully, it (basically) only leaks where the well water comes into the house which happens to be right by the sump pump.  But after the rain...
I did use the "vivid" setting on my camera, but did not edit the color/lighting after it was taken.
This rainbow was taken from our back door.  It was actually a full rainbow, but from past experience, I know my camera is not capable of capturing all of it from our property.  Do you see the green alternating with the plowed fields?  Spring has arrived!

This week on the blog, I shared my make-do cake server and my personal blogging benefits.  Can you relate to either?
If you have a family-friendly blog post, please link it up in our Weekend Wind-Down Party.  It's on six blogs, so you get six times the exposure.  We pin and feature our favorite posts each week.

  1. Thanks for hosting!

I loved reading your post about the personal benefits of blogging for you. I find at the end of the day one of the things I love most about blogging is an outlet for writing and sharing my photography. It's my creative space.

    Have a great weekend!
