So Not Okay {Bullying Book Giveaway}

You know how much I enjoyed reading Nancy Rue's So Not Okay, a middle grade book about bullying.  It was well-written and not preachy, as I suspected it might be.  Instead it offers practical advice to a bystander or victim of bullying.  Be sure to read the complete review for suggestions how to stop a bully.
"So Not Okay shares a bullying story that many relate to.  Sixth grader Tori and her best friends, Ophelia and Winnie know to stay out of Kylie's way.  Kylie proves popularity equals power at their middle school as she and her "pack" do as they wish throughout the school." ~ From my review of So Not Okay.

I'm happy to tell you that one of This Simple Home's readers will get their own copy of the book filled with practical advice on how to stop a bully.  To enter to win, please click on Rafflecopter below.

  3. As I watch the news everyday - I have to shake my head. Kids are getting meaner and meaner - especially with technology growing so fast. Makes me scared for my son when he grows up :/ I had some "mean girl" issues in high school, but nothing like I've seen now. Thank you for offering this giveaway!

  4. I've been talking about bullying with a friend as she tries to help navigate her daughter through a relationship with a mean girl. Ironically, this sweet girl being bullied is named Kylie. I'd be interested to read this book to see if it is helpful.
