What's for Dinner in July?

Yes, folks, it is the third Monday of July, and I am just now sharing our dinner meals with you for the whole month.  It's been that kind of a month.  Busy!  Many days I've just been thankful that I have taken a shower and fed my children.  (Oh, and with the heat wave, I'm certainly grateful for air conditioning!  I would be using my slow cooker even more if I didn't have A/C!)
Week 1
Chicken and dumplings
Egg wraps
Ranch Pork Chops (company)
BBQ chicken (company)

Week 2
We were away at family camp.  All meals were provided.  I only washed medicine syringes and sippy cups.  Oh yes!  I wonder if I will ever be able to leave our Dawn behind when we go on vacation.

Week 3
Bacon Cheeseburger Roll-Up (I used this quick recipe for the bread with minor adaptations.  Good stuff!  I'll use that one again!)
Chicken Tacos
Pancakes
Sausage Egg Casserole
Hot Dogs

Week 4-5
Chicken quesadilla
Ziti
Beef tacos
Homemade pizza
Chicken spiedies (grilled chicken)
Cheeseburger Macaroni

For sweets, I made chocolate chip cookies when we had company.  I also made caramel popcorn and intend to make an apple pie soon.  I also tried a cinnamon bread that didn't turn out so great.  I may try my cinnamon scones since it's been so long since I made them and they freeze so well.

I'm linking up with Meal Planning Monday!  If you need some more meal ideas, it's a great resource!

  1. It does seem as if the month of July is simply flying by doesn't it? Your BBQ chicken looks really good.

    1. Definitely flying! The BBQ chicken does take a bit of attention at the grill, but it takes no prep time beforehand.
